The Wu-Tang Clan's original wordsmith comes out strong on his third release with quality material that should silence the criticism that has been directed at some of the Clan's recent sub-par releases. Production is handled simply but masterfully by Mathematics and Arabian Knight, with RZA shining on one track. GZA flows effortlessly over the futuristic soundscapes and drops lyrics that strengthen his position as one of the Clan's top lyricists. A very strong release that could have done without the disappointing enhanced multimedia portion - GZA could have used the time better to deliver more of his lyrical swordplay. [8/10] |
